Mermaid Certifications
Get certified!
Either you are into mermaiding as a hobby, or you dream of working in the mermaid industry, maybe you would like to expand your knowledge. Getting certified is always a big deal, wright? So, if the Discover Mermaid Experience is not enough for you, we provide you the following three PADI Mermaid Courses:
PADI Basic Mermaid
Prerequisites
- 6+ years old
- Ability to swim at least 25m/80ft without swim aids
- Ability to float comfortably at the surface for at least 3min
Start your mermaid journey! In this course you will learn:
- Basic breath-holding and equalization techniques
- Dolphin kick
- Dynamic Apnea
- Mermaid underwater tricks
PADI Mermaid
Prerequisites
- 10+ years old
- Ability to swim at least 50m/160ft without swim aids
- Ability to float comfortably at the surface for at least 5min
Take your mermaiding skills to the next level! Including:
- Pranayama breathing exercises
- Dynamic and Static Apnea
- C and U turns
- Safety skills
- Buddy a mermaid diver
PADI Advanced Mermaid
Prerequisites
- 12+ years old
- Ability to swim at least 100m/320ft without swim aids
- Ability to float comfortably at the surface for at least 10min
Ready to be a part of the ocean? With this course you will learn how to dive in open water conditions:
- Differences between confined and open water
- How to treat aquatic life
- Protect the environment through mermaiding
- Resque techniques
Every course includes a mini underwater photoshooting session, to take stunning photos and videos of your mermaid performance!
