My name is Kirkou Makropoulou Aliki and I am a professional mermaid performer and a PADI Mermaid Instructor from Greece. Due to my love for the underwater world, i have always desired to be to be a part of the sea. That's why, when i discovered mermaiding, I attended the professional course of Thessaloniki Mermaid Academy to obtain the Mermaid Instructor Certificate. In the meanwhile, I completed some freediving and scuba diving courses by PADI and AIDA to develop my skills.

Furthermore, I have worked in glass-bottom boats and submarines as a mermaid performer, and as an animator in birthday parties, kids events and festivals.

Also, I participated to the performance and mermaid masterclass Sirenes  in Italy with one of the most world known mermaid performers, Hannah Mermaid. 

Apart from my mermaid and free dive qualifications, I have graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Educational Studies, while I have attended theatre workshops by the National Theatre of North Greece and the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation.
